I'm currently recruiting a Floating Structures Design Engineer for a fast-growing company.Your role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Development, you will be responsible for : -Design and modify floating structures, integrating stability, dynamics and structural aspects.

Produce technical drawings in compliance with current specifications and standards.
Assess the stability and dynamic behavior of floating platforms.
Integrate and optimize mechanical and electrical equipment installations.
Determine the list of materials required for projects.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure smooth construction and repair phases.
Supervise work and monitor compliance of installed systems.
Analyze design and construction costs to propose appropriate budgets.
Ensure effective communication with the various partners and stakeholders.
Resolve technical problems encountered during the design or construction phase.

Carry out regular on-site inspections to ensure compliance of work.

Your professional skills-Excellent command of stability calculations and structural analysis.

Adaptability, rigor and strong problem-solving skills.

Good contingency management and technical communication skills.Your profile-Degree in marine engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering or related field.

3 to 7 years' experience in the design of floating structures or in the marine industry.

Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, MS Project or other specific software).

Bilingualism (French and English).Working conditions-Salary : $95,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.

Permanent position, 40h / week, flexible hours.

Possibility of 100% remote work if based outside the province.

Occasional travel possible depending on projects, anywhere in Canada and the United States.
