Structural civil engineer

Main tasks are as follows : Define engineering concepts required in tender processParticipate in constructability reviews during initial engineering phase as well as during constructionEnsure that client requirements are metMaintain and improve engineering tools that are used within companyParticipate in technical reviews with clientEnsure that draftmen understand and assimilate technical requirements of design when draftingComplete design notes and initial drawings so as to define equipment to design (such as lifting structures, gates, embedded parts, hoists, etc.) with existing tools and based on previous projects by modifying existing conceptsPrepare assembly, installation and testing proceduresPrepare and follow engineering scheduleOn occasion, handle non-conformities in fabrication and initiate work modification requests as requiredOn occasion, go on-site to perform inspections of work and resolve design issues.
