We are seeking a Civil Project Manager for the Quebec region.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Civil Project Manager will have the following responsibilities :
- Coordinate activities with foremen to ensure effective site management.
- Prepare and award subcontracting contracts and purchase orders.
- Manage the coordination of subcontractors to avoid overlaps upon their arrival on site.
- Analyze ongoing projects to maximize profitability.
- Establish and monitor the site’s operational budget.
- Develop and track project schedules.
- Follow up on directives and change requests.
- Approve invoices related to the projects.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills and qualifications :
- Technical diploma / Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in project management (civil construction)
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
- Must be open to travel across the province
